Vina Maipo was born in 1948 in Maipo Town, and is situated nearby Santiago in Maipo Valley, Chile's most important and renowned winegrowing region. Vina Maipo is especially focused on the production of superior quality wines, and holds a passion in making the distinguished Syrah Vina Maipo as its flagship wine and becoming a worldwide expert on Syrah, which is a wine of extraordinary colors and intense aromas. Vina Maipo planted more than 15 years ago one of the first Syrah vines in Chile, being a pioneer in this type of plantations.

Vina Maipo Bi-Varietal Sauvignon Blanc / Chardonnay
Tasting Notes: Bright greenish-yellow. Fruity aromas, rich in peaches and apples and citric notes. Very fresh, soft, balance and semi-dry wine.
Food Pairing: All kinds of fish and soft-flavoured seafood.
Vina Maipo Vitral Sauvignon Blanc
Tasting Notes: It is a bright yellow wine, with fresh and highly expressive aromas with peaches and gooseberry notes. Gentle, round and mouth filling wine with a fresh and crisp acidity.
Food Pairing: Tempura and spice mussels.
Vina Maipo Vitral Syrah
Tasting Notes: A dark deep purple wine, with attractive aromas of black cherry, currant and chocolate flavor. Rounded wine with soft and sweet tannins, finishing with a lively acidity to balance the intense flavors.
Food Pairing: Shabu-shabu, Tonkatsu, Teriyaki beef, Yakitori
Vina Maipo Vitral Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes: It is an intense dark ruby red wine, with gorgeous aromas of cherry, blackcurrant and dark plums with toasted oak. Medium bodied with silky tannins and a long ripe fruit and berry aftertaste.
Food Pairing: Stir fried beef with peppers.
