Mr.Pannara Choochan, deputy governor for marketing, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Mr.Smith Hansa, director, and Pongsak Kunakornporamut public affairs manager, Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, and Mr.Preeda Chullamonthol, manager of Motors Sports Co.Ltd., participated in the press conference for the promotional program of motor travelling entitled "TAT-ESSO AMAZING CARAVAN," recently held at thr 14th F1. conference room, Head Office of the Tourism Authoritu of Thailand. The program was aimed at encouraging Thais to travel in Thailand and supporting the Authority of Thailand. In this year, four trips will be arranged with destinations in the Central, the East, the West and the North. The trips will be different from those in the past years by focusing on adventure, outdoor activities and sightseeing in the nature. Details of the trips are as follow:
1. Amazing Sport & Entertainment - route Bangkok-Ratchaburi-Kanchanaburi during May 15-17 : to visit Pottery Village, "Khao bin" and "La-va" caves, Prasart muangsing historical park, The bridge of river kwai,etc. Exciting activities are raft floating, mountain biking, canoeing, walk rally, etc.
2. Amazing Food & Fruit - route Bangkok - Nakhon Nayok - Prachin Buri- Chachoengsao-Rayong-Chon Buri during June 26-28 : to visit Ongkarak ornamental plants & cut flower center, Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, Khao Yai national park, Suphattra orchard, etc.
3. Amazing Natural Heritage - route Bangkok - Mae sot - Tak - Kamphaeng Phet during August 22 - 25 : to visit hill trible development $ welfare center, Mae Lamao rafting & eco adventure, Phacharoen waterfalls, Klong Lan waterfall national park, etc.
4. Amazing World Heritage Site - route Bangkok - Kamphaeng Phet - Sukhothai - Phitsunulok - Phetchabun during November 21-23 : to visit Kamphaeng Phet historical park, Light & Sound at Sukhothai historical park, Phu Hin Rongkla historical park, Khao Kor, etc.
In this program, Esso offers all joining cars a free engine check-up and gasoline worth 500 baht. With focus on safety, Esso will conduct a defensive driving training for all motorists prior to each trip. In addition, accident insurance will be offered to all participants including reporters in all trips.
