Thida Kaewbootta, Director of Srisawad Corporation Public Company Limited, better known as SAWAD revealed that SAWAD is committed to resolving household debt problems. One of the main problems is that loan sources are often hard to access. Moreover, the assistance must be provided urgently, hence the extension of the promotion of motorcycle title loan and refinancing with a fixed interest rate of 0.49% per month or the equivalent to the effective interest rate of only 10.58% per annum. An offer, lasting until the end of this August, aims to assist low-income earners to gain access to loan sources with a fair interest rate, consequently, it will add liquidity to economic activities which is the vital key driving the country's economy.

"According to the data from the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Thailand, the country is in desperate need of macro-economic acceleration, especially the reduction of household debt which is now as high as 90%. Though the interest rate cut by non-bank lenders could be achieved immediately, the consequences may affect the interest income to be decreased. Nonetheless, the reduction of interest will help better the lives of people during this ongoing crisis, and we believe that giving is more important than taking. If people have access to financial resources to support themselves and survive, the business sector will thrive. This interest rate cut would seem like a jab, but it will resurrect hope. With our devotion to supporting Thai people through SAWAD's branches spreading across almost every corner of Thailand, we aspire to make financial and loan sources accessible for all.," said Thida.

The promotion of a motorcycle title loan or refinancing with a low-interest rate at 49 baht per month of every 10,000-baht loan, are now available via more than 5,000 branches of Srisawad FAST MONEY nationwide or at 550 branches of the Government Savings Bank across Thailand.
