Ms. Suporn Wattanavekin (left), Chairman of AEON Thailand Foundation, Mr. Tsutomu Omodera (right), Managing Director of AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) PCL and Mr. Yoshiki Mori, Chairman of AEON 1% Club Foundation together with Mr. Masatoshi Omoto, Managing Director of AEON (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Mr. Toshihiko Nabe, Managing Director of AEON TOPVALU (Thailand) Co., Ltd. organized an online ceremony to award 32 scholarships totaling THB 2,240,000 to Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University students. At the event, Assoc.Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, Rector of Thammasat University Assistant and Prof. Pomthong Malakul Na Ayudhaya, Ph.D., Vice President for Administration, Arts and Culture Management of Chulalongkorn University, along with the management team leading students, were present to receive the scholarships. Since 2010, AEON Foundation Thailand has teamed up with the AEON 1% Club and AEON Group in Thailand to award scholarships to students who have excelled academically but lack of financial resources. This year marks the 12th anniversary of this award ceremony.
