As concluded in the preface by the co-authors "We hope you will enjoy reading this book and benefit from the pearls of wisdom within. A long-term healthy lifestyle does not mean sacrificing all your favorite activities and foods — even small lifestyle changes can make an impact. As Hippocrates once said "A wise man ought to realize that health is his most valuable possession." So Health Brings Wealth is perfect as a gift for yourself and those you love.

What do the authors say about their motivation behind this book?

Prof Ji?? Dvo??k "The Covid 19 pandemic forced the global population to stand back, for many an opportunity to think and reconsider their individual way of life, think about Health and Disease. It became so obvious that pre-existing diseases, many of them preventable, and Covid 19 infection had worst outcome, need of admission to ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and even caused death. This is such a strong warning sign to consider those facts and take action on individual and community level. To facilitate the process of understanding of well-established scientific evidence was the motivation of us 4 co-authors, each at peak of professional careers, to present the evidence in layman language in an easy to read book "Health brings Wealth".

Prof Sergio Fazio "To convey the message that for most of us health is not the result of hightech interventions or use of expensive medicines but what you get by understanding your body and investing in it with the low tech approaches of eating well, thinking well, doing well, sleeping well, moving well, and avoiding poisonous influences of any kind (air pollution, manufactured foods, direct sunlight, loud music, social media, etc.).

What I wish for the reader to gain is the knowledge that health is not the absence of disease but a state of being to be constantly pursued even when carrying chronic conditions. You can be healthy and getting healthier with asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. In truth, we don't lose our health when we get a diagnosis of a disease but when we let go of healthy habits."

Prof Keith L. Black ''The phrase 'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure' captures my motivation for this book. My goals were to provide tools to empower the reader to take charge of their wellness and the wellness of their loved ones".
