ASAMON (which means "Mon community on Koh Kret") - Mantra of the Craft Masters" event features rare and specially crafted creations and precious collectors' items by 10 leading Thai artists to adorn and augment elegance to a dinner table set up. This rare event is a MUST showcase to participate by discerning collectors and aficionados of rare, meticulously crafted, limited edition Thai handicrafts to transform an ordinary dinner into an elegant dining experience.
Limited to 12 seats only, the ASAMON dining showcase experience event also offers a culinary feast of the best of Mon and Koh Kret's renowned cuisine.
The 10 craft masters who are being featured at the "ASAMON- Mantra of the Craft Masters" comprise: -

- Hatsaya Preecharat (Fon) - craft master of clay benjarong
- Panida Taemjan (Kung) - teacher of handicrafts (?), craft master of clay benjarong

- Nattawut Ponherm (Fang) - craft master of silver & gold carving
- Narisa Choeiwatkor (Taeng) - craft master of silver & gold carving
- Boonchai Kaeban (Art) - craft master of ancient metal decorataive items
- Saranya Saisiri (Nok Eiang) - craft master of clay benjarong
- Sorapat Sarapruet - craft master of silver & gold carving
- Paradee Wongsrichan - craft master of hand woven cloths
Participants of "ASAMON - Mantra of the Craft Masters" event will take home as rare collectors' item souvenirs all the handicrafts and dining utensils - approximately 30 limited edition pieces - which are methodically crafted by the 10 masters. The name of the participating dinner guest will be carved on each and every piece. A sumptuous menu presenting the finest Koh Kret specialities and Mon inspired dishes whose heirloom recipes are no longer known nowadays will be served amidst a nostalgic ambiance inside the over 200-year-old "Baan Din Mon Studio" on Koh Kret with the legendary Chao Phraya River as backdrop.
