(JWD), ASEAN's recognized expert in logistics and supply chain, revealed that in the process of fulfilling the Company's logistics plan that intended to expand the B2C (business-to-customer) business model to access more customers who are individual consumers, the latest move of JWD Store It! Company Limited, which is a self-storage service provider and a subsidiary of JWD under the brand name "JWD Store It!", officially opened the Ladprao branch on September 9th, 2022 (9th day of the 9th month) near the Ratchada-Ladprao Intersection and the MRT Ladprao Station as well as the BTS Pawana Station to fulfill the demand for self-storage space with high security standard, full air-conditioning and 24-hour accessibility. The touchless customer access is through mobile application or code input for additional security.
The investment on the Ladprao branch of "JWD Store It!" was 80 million baht, and with the floor area of 4,000 square meters, the facility is considered to be the largest in Ladprao area and consisting of several sizes of storage space to choose from, starting at 0.6 square meter all the way up to 46 square meters. As a promotion to mark the launch of the Ladprao branch, the Company is offering free hauling service for customers with rental period of three months or longer, while creating a difference with drive-in storage room service and single-room storage. The storage rooms are also built-in with cloth racks and storage shelves to better fulfill the customers' modern lifestyle.
"JWD Store It!" Ladprao branch is the Company's 7th self-storage facility in addition to branches at Sri Kreetha, Siam, Thienruammit, Ramindra, Rama 9, and Patong in Phuket Province. At present, the Company is considered to be the self-storage service provider with the highest number of branches. Furthermore, the Company plans to continuously add more branches through the cooperation with Central Pattana Public Company Limited and Store It! Management Company Limited, the self-storage service provider in Singapore, as partners to help grow the business and maintain the strong business leadership position.
