Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation, as a company committed to deliver the Corporate Social Responsibility, firmly believes that education is the key for sustainable development. One of our supporting in education project is the scholarships program which our 1st activity in 1993 since the establishment of our foundation. In 2022, our scholarship offers total amount of 1,200,000 Thai Baht for total 20 engineering students from 4 leading Thai universities
Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation Offers 1.2 Million Baht in Scholarships To Support Education for Engineering Students

Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation, led by Mr. Hiroaki Kondo, Vice Chairman, together with Mr. Krit Thongnark, Director, and Mr. Tetsuya Shinohara, Deputy Managing Director, Mitsubishi Electric Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd., presided over the presentation of 2022 scholarships for the 30th consecutive year. The non-binding scholarships amounting to a total of 1,200,000 Thai Baht are offered to select engineering students from Chiang Mai University, Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, and Thammasat University. The scholarships are aimed to support educational development, as well as offer encouragement to the youth to remain determined to translate the knowledge and skills learned to help drive the society and country forward.

Mr. Hiroaki Kondo, Vice Chairman of Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation, stated, "Our long-term vision is that education is key to sustainable development and the Foundation has been contributing to Thai educational promotion. Our philosophy under the Sustainable Development Goals is to "Leave No One Behind". The foundation has always been aware of this and committed to address this issue for we believe that we are offering not just financial support, but a contribution to a better society. We hope that all the scholarship recipients will do their parts for the future."

Mitsubishi Electric in Thailand has always been enthusiastic to engage with society, especially in education where we offer scholarships for engineering students and organize Science Classrooms. We also sponsor Partnership School Project, Prateep Dek Thai Project to construct Child Development Center across the country, and Meditation Classrooms. These projects are aligned with Mitsubishi Electric Group's Commitment of "Changes for the Better" where we are committed to contributing to positive changes for society while operating our business.
