The event will also be co-located with in-cosmetics Asia, the leading event in Asia Pacific for personal care ingredients on 1 - 3 November 2022 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC).
"The 2021 Global Beauty Industry is valued at more than 20 trillion baht with an annual growth of 4.75% with Asia-pacific taking the largest market share at 46%. The Thai Beauty Industry alone is valued at 0.3 trillion baht (from the Thai Cosmetic Manufacturers Association); 60% of this figure (180,000 million baht) represents the Thai domestic market and the remaining 40% (120,000 million baht) comes from export. Currently, Thailand ranks 10th as the world's exporter of beauty products and 2nd in ASEAN. Due to the diverging interest of consumers, beauty products are becoming more and more multifaceted to meet the wide-ranging demands as well as to maintain the brand's identity and social perception. This includes trends such as "Beauty Beast" which refers to a genderless concept of beauty that reflects the complex and diverse consumer demands, and "Clean Beauty" which reflects consumers' increasing awareness regarding natural and eco-friendly cosmetic ingredients.", explained Ms. Dhamcharee.
At COSMEX, besides manufacturing technologies, personal care, and dietary supplement products, there will also be opportunities for aspiring beauty entrepreneurs to meet with ODM and OEM service providers as well as manufacturers of cosmetics packaging. More importantly, COSMEX will be co-located with in-cosmetics Asia, the leading event in Asia Pacific for personal care ingredients organized by RX UK. Together, COSMEX and in-cosmetics Asia are expected to draw over 500 exhibitors and 25,000 attendees.
Many of the new exhibitors this year will be presenting attractive and trending contents and products. For example, how to use hemp extracts as active ingredients in cosmetics, and many unique and customizable formulas will be offered by OEM service providers. Other highlights will include new supplements, on-demand packaging with the latest digital printing technology, and many more.
