BDMS listed among Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) members in the service industry for three years in a row

Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited or BDMS has been recognized again by the Stock Exchange of Thailand as one of Thailand's Sustainability Investment members (THSI) for 2022 in the group of service industry (services). This marks the third consecutive year since 2020 that BDMS has received this recognition. This achievement demonstrates the company's significant achievement in building up confidence amongst investors in accordance with the sustainable investment concept, which covers development across three key principles namely Environment, Social and Governance (ESG). This, coupled with the company's financial data analysis, contributes to decision-making by investors on a continuous long-term yield.

BDMS determines business policy under all facets of these sustainability principles with a belief that business growth can only be sustained by maintaining a good balance between the three spheres that include environment, social and governance. BDMS considers this as the company's commitment towards business growth in a sustainable manner. This year, BDMS is listed among the 33 Thailand Sustainability Investment members (THSI) in the group of service industry (Services). The THSI selection criteria consists of governance guidelines and practices that foster business operations in a responsible manner under the good governance principle. Furthermore, the criteria includes the integration of innovation that helps develop human resources, social responsibility and environmental conservation, while promoting healthcare within the community and larger society.

The company's financial statements in the past six months recorded on June 30th, 2022 demonstrates that BDMS (PCL.) and its affiliates have generated a total revenue of 45,140 million Baht - a 34% growth when compared to the first half of 2021. The revenue contribution comes from both COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 related cases. The company has seen 28% growth from Thai patients and 69% growth from international patients in comparison with the first half of 2021. The results include significant contributions from patients originating from the Middle East and the CLMV markets. The company and its affiliates achieved a net profit of 6,107 million Baht, an increase of 119% from the first half of 2021, resulting in an increase of 13.5% net profit margin in the first half of 2022.
