The newly opened InterContinental Khao Yai Resort today launches a limited-time wellness package, Khao Yai Rejuvenation Package. Featuring a three-night stay for two in the King Classic Lake View room and enriched with wellness offerings designed to soothe and pamper, guests can expect to leave recharged, refreshed and ready to tackle the new year.
Relaxation begins from the very first step into the breathtaking compounds of the resort, which is deeply connected to nature. From the King Classic Lake View room, guests will be able to catch stunning views of the hotel's tranquil Swan Lake, alongside abundant tropical greenery. Whether perched on their private balcony or luxuriating in the king-sized bed, guests will be able to immerse themselves in the privacy and calm of the resort for much-needed downtime.
At the Back on Track: Spa, housed in repurposed railcars, highly trained therapists deliver a range of treatments, including the package's highlight, a 3-hour spa treatment which incorporates a 90min Traditional Healing Full Body Massage to help guests unlock a deeper sense of wellbeing. Tapping into traditional Thai remedies, guests will feel their stress and muscle tension melt away, aided by ingredients like organic coconut, sesame, and hand-blended oils of lemongrass and ylang ylang, among others.
Guests can complete their pampering experience with their choice of 90-min organic facial massage, body scrub or relaxing bath, also included in the treatment. The cleansing bath relaxes and deeply moisturises with a rich blend of organic oils and Thai coastal sea salt, and the scrub exfoliates and conditions skin, replenishing and energising it. Meanwhile, the facial massage targets different skin needs, such as city-stressed skin, sensitive skin and natural signs of aging, starting with a cleanse, gentle oil facial massage, clarifying masks and facial hydration to finish. Each facial treatment features Siam Botanicals' luxurious Wild Roots of Zingiber range, which blends cold-pressed organic seed oils with distillations of ginger, plai (Zingiber cassumunar or Cassumunar ginger) root, turmeric, ginger lily and frankincense.
Elsewhere in the resort, guests are encouraged to further refresh themselves, mind and body, with complimentary Stretching, Tai Chi, Hatha Yoga and Walking Meditation group classes on offer. Those seeking a heart-pumping exercise will be able to sweat it out at the Crossfit-inspired fitness centre overlooking Swan Lake, or on any of the jogging and cycling trails both in and around the resort. Throughout their stays, resident specialists are available to enrich their sense of transformative wellbeing; a Resident Healer guides guests through their personal wellness journeys, while a Resident Naturalist conduct rejuvenating tours of the resort's natural landscape and the on-premises Waterfall Edge.
Understanding that proper nourishment is crucial to refreshing enervated bodies, Khao Yai Rejuvenation Package also includes a complimentary daily healthy breakfast, alongside two healthy lunch or dinner set meals at Somying's Kitchen. Especially developed to complement the Rejuvenation Package, they feature lighter options such as Yum Som O Gong (grilled prawn pomelo salad) and Nam Prik Pla Nueng (steamed seabass served with fresh vegetables) from the Thai menu, and roasted chicken thigh in thyme jus and pan-roasted seabass in brown butter lemon sauce from the Western menu.
Finally, a selection of complimentary refreshing juices and smoothies are also available daily as part of the Khao Yai Rejuvenation Package. Made with seasonal fruit and local fruit, such as yellow Dragon fruits which are native to Khao Yai, each glass is juiced fresh to order.
