Pol. Lt. Col. Anurak Jirajit, Digital Economy and Society Deputy Minister proceeded to chair the opening of DIGITAL INFINITY Networking Night, organized by depa. Attended the event are Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, President/CEO of depa, senior executives from various government agencies, representatives from a private sector, tourism and other business operators and Thai and international digital network influencers.
Pol. Lt. Col. Anurak stated during the opening remarks that the MDES is committed to drive Thailand toward digitizing economy and society with depa being its major supporting force. In 2023, depa enhances on operations under a concept DIGITAL INFINITY, which is in line with the second phase of the digital economy promotion master plan that includes driving the industry new wave and soft power through 8 major projects.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon also added that the DIGITAL INFINITY concept will enrich Thai digitizing human force, the digital industry driving force, and the promotion of technology application and digital innovation as well as the digital infrastructure preparation that would support the country's progress toward a digital economy and society across 8 upcoming projects, namely:

- Digital Tourism
- Transform: New-normal Market (Extended)
- The Smart City Ambassadors: SCA Gen 2
- Smart School Bus Platform
- CONNEXION Platform
- E-SPORTS Proficiency Development
- THAI GAME INDUSTRY TO GLOBAL
Among which, yet another important project in Thailand Health Information Exchange: Health Link.
"The DIGITAL INFINITY Networking Night organized today is said to be a creation of an open platform for information, knowledge, ideas, voices, and experience exchange in relation to digital technology for business operations. The event also offered updates about upcoming projects under our DIGITAL INFINITY concept that have been put in place to foster Thai digitizing economy. Strong collaborations from top government executives and private agencies as well as tourism and other business operators, and Thai and international influencers seen today was indeed a great success and an adept driver for our envisioned digital economy," added depa's President/CEO.
In addition, the DIGITAL INFINITY Networking Night also presented updates on the national tourism digital platform 'ThailandCONNEX' that has been jointly developed by depa and Travizgo Technology Co., Ltd. ThailandCONNEX operates as a central platform that seamlessly connects Thai tourism operators with worldwide Online Travel Agents (OTAs) while being an effective tool to help operators' lower costs and widen their markets. This will help lift the bar for Thai tourism operators and enhance the recovery of the Thai tourism industry and business operators.
