Made in Melflex, Melissa's 100% recyclable plastic, the sole's interior is filled with ultralight PU, and the insole is covered with fabric made from recycled PET bottles. The footwear comes in off-white and black.

Concerned with constantly evolving in the sustainable sphere, Melissa has been investing in using biomaterials and recycled materials, with carbon reduction in the production chain. The brand's accessories are vegan, registered by the Vegan Society, and contain an average of 30% pre-consumer recycled PVC; that is, it takes advantage of waste materials that would be discarded in a standard production process, and its packaging is 100% recyclable, counting on with 63% recycled paper and water-based glue.

In the Melissa x Marc Jacobs collection, this is no different. All products have Biobased EVA in their composition, totally or partially, a lower impact material partially derived from sugarcane with at least 25% of vegetable origin content certified by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture). In addition to being pro-environment, this plant-derived compound is light and comfortable, bringing comfort to everyday life. In the silver-colored models, the ink used was water-based, which does not contain volatile organic compounds responsible for part of the air pollution.
