Ms. Thitirat Pataweewarakit, President of MB Global Marketings Co., Ltd., said that the Transport Ministry has unveiled a plan to invest in land, rail, sea, and air transport infrastructure megaprojects including both the short and long-term projects worth over 2.24 trillion baht in total. The plan includes 14 electric train projects covering a total length of 554 kilometers, the Second Mass Rapid Transit Master Plan in Bangkok Metropolitan Region (M-MAP 2), essential routes connecting the Red Line and the Brown Line, the construction of 10 routes connecting motorways and railways, and the Land Bridge project connecting seaports in Chumphon and Ranong, among others.

These infrastructure megaprojects will make the transport systems more accessible and convenient, enhance the country's economic competitiveness, spread prosperity to all regions of Thailand, promote circular economy in the construction industry and the labor sector, and create new prime locations for commercial and residential projects. Given that Thailand has various megaprojects in the pipeline and the ASEAN countries continue to make investments in core infrastructure, MB Global Marketings taps into the optimism by organizing CBA Expo 2023 from 13-15 September 2023 at BITEC, Bangna.

The event is supported by public sector partners including the Ministry of Industry, the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning, the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT), the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), the Mining Industry Council, the Construction Institute of Thailand, the Iron and Steel Institute of Thailand, the Thai Generator Association, the Building Inspectors Association (BSA), the Thai Structural Engineers Association (TSEA), and the Cambodia Constructors Association, among others. The event will showcase the latest technologies, products, services, and solutions from over 100 leading companies and brands. It is expected to attract over 5,000 trade buyers from Thailand and neighboring countries.
