The event began with Assistant Professor Dr. Somkid Juwa, Dean of the School of Public Health reporting on the objective of the project which is to build up a local learning space for sustainable community well-being. Furthermore, he reported that this local learning space provides access to the local folk wisdom of herbal oriental medicine in the context of agriculture and environmental management using environmentally friendly chemicals that support good life quality in the community. Afterwards, Associate Professor Supakorn Pongbangpho, Ph.D. President, University of Phayao gave an opening speech, wishing participants well and thanking the participating networks for their good cooperation and saying that the project will ultimately lead to success and sustainability.
