Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT), the leading port and terminal operator of terminals A2, A3, C1&C2, and D at Laem Chabang Port, has surpassed 40 million TEUs of container throughput, setting a new record for the country. Mr. Stephen Ashworth, Managing Director of Thailand and Southeast Asia, Hutchison Ports, celebrated this success with the executives and employees.

On this occasion, Mr. Ashworth gave an encouraging speech and showed his gratitude to the employees for their commitment and hard work toward the success. Aiming for the new milestone of 50 million TEUs, HPT has also set a goal to drive sustainable growth and implement cutting-edge, environmentally friendly technology.

2002 - Operated Terminal A2 on February 6, 2002
2006 - Operated Terminal A3
2007 - Operated Terminal C1&C2
2016 - Started the Construction of Terminal D
2019 - Operated Terminal D
2022 - 20th Anniversary of Operating Containers Terminal in Thailand
2023 - Surpassed 40 million TEUs of Containers Throughput

Hutchison Ports Thailand

Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) is specially designed to facilitate Thailand's growing container traffic. It is situated at Laem Chabang Port, the largest port in Thailand and the gateway for the nation's imports and exports. It is just 130 kilometres to the southeast of Bangkok in the coastal province of Chonburi. The port provides a full range of auxiliary services, including a container freight station, a double track railway and improved highway connections with Thailand's hinterland. HPT currently operates Terminals A2, A3, C1, C2, D1 and is now developing for operation the remaining phases of Terminal D.
