Dow Recognized as a Leading Organization in Greenhouse Gas Management

Siam Polyethylene Company Limited, a subsidiary of Dow Thailand Group, has been recognized as a "Climate Action Leading Organization (CALO)" by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) for its outstanding performance in greenhouse gas (GHG) management. The company received a gold rating from TGO, the highest possible rating.

The recognition is a result of Dow Thailand Group's commitment to reducing GHG emissions and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. The company has clear goals and plans for measuring, reducing, and offsetting its GHG emissions. It has also been certified for its corporate carbon footprint and other relevant standards by TGO or equivalent international standards.

Kajohnpong Pusitdhikul, Polyethylene and Elastomers Marketing Director at Dow Thailand Group, received the award from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Pol. Gen. Patcharawat Wongsuwan, at the second Thailand Climate Action Conference (TCAC 2023) at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.
