Located on the 3rd floor of the chic over 100-year-old building, The Corner House Bangkok (Chai Phatthanasilp), this unique hangout space invites guests to come together and watch movies, listen to music on the turntables in Thailand's largest record library, play the latest PlayStation and Nintendo Switch games, go offline with board games or check out art exhibitions.

Paul Sirisant, the founder of Such A Small World, revealed that the inspiration for creating this new kind of hangout space came from the way the COVID-19 pandemic changed how he and his friends consumed entertainment. Today, even people living under the same roof may choose to enjoy their own entertainment on their phone screens, so he wanted to create a space that feels comfortable and relaxed like a friend's home kitted out with the latest devices to encourage shared passions and togetherness.

Paul explained that Such A Small World is designed like a series of cool living rooms, each equipped with the latest cutting-edge equipment that can be personalized according to individual preferences or needs. Whether it's close friends playing a PlayStation PS5 or office mates holding a fun meeting outside over a board game, it offers a variety of options for fun group activities. There are also digital TVs capable of logging onto every platform so friends can see the final episode together. Plus, in one eye-catching corner, they've repurposed a set of skate ramps into a cozy space where guests can lie down and watch movies on a projection screen beamed onto the ceiling.

Covering an area of more than 600 square meters in the vintage building The Corner House, also known as Building Som (Chai Phatthanasilp), Such A Small World is also filled with dedicated areas to listen to music, watch movies, lounge, and play games in various corners uniquely decorated without walls with stylish furniture that makes people feel connected to the other rooms including a movie screening area. Each corner is suitable for groups of friends from 2 to 16 people.

The area is also designed to be a very chill workroom. Aside from all the fun and games, each space is perfect for organizing fan-meeting activities, throwing birthday parties with the whole gang or watching a world-class concert on a giant TV screen together. Space is perfect for organizing creative workshops, screening, small music events and networking events

Another highlight of this space is the Listening Station, a record player room decked out with personal headphones. Music lovers can choose their favorite records from a collection of more than 6,500, considered the largest vinyl library in Thailand. They join hands with Gadhouse, a leader in turntables and speakers, to provide the ultimate listening experience.

The room's open play layout is designed without walls so that everyone can talk and build friendships, fostering a community of music lovers. It is also suitable for events such as artist talks or record launches in an intimate atmosphere.

"Such A Small World is not just another cafe or a hip check-in spot in the Talad Noi area - we are providing a new experience. It is a world of endless entertainment. This is the first and only place in the world that gathers private entertainment into one open space. We intentionally designed the space to make everyone feel comfortable, and enjoy their own world at every corner in the same space," Paul said.

"This is therefore not only a private resting area. It is also a place where ideas are connected and various interests come together. I am confident that every form of creativity, every interest, can be catered to here in one place. Those who visit will find unique experiences, along with opportunities to grow and connect together," he added.

Such A Small World will have an open house for the public on 25-26 November 2023 from 13:00-22:00 with various activities and event highlights to be held monthly.
