Culture, Sports and Tourism Department Receives KTC Travel Guidebooks for Nationwide Library Placement.

Mrs. Prapassorn Jumnongbudra (center to the right) Director of the Recreation and Learning Promotion Office, Culture, Sports and Tourism Department along with Mr. Sopon Sud-iad (second from the right) Director of the Library and Learning Promotion Division were honored to receive 1,850 "KTC Guidezine" travel guide books from Ms. Janejit Ladpli (center to the left), Head of Public and Corporate Affairs Division, "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited. These guidebooks are focused on ecotourism, providing information on oversea travel that reflects indigenous architecture and life. The aim is to provide readers with information for self-guided travel which includes six routes, covering destinations such as Delhi and Agra in India / Moscow, St. Petersburg, The Trans-Siberian route in Russia / Iceland / Iran / Greece, and Turkey. These books will be forwarded to the Bangkok City Library and other libraries under the supervision of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to allow Thai youth and those interested to make the most of these resources for study, research, and as a reference source. The event recently took place at the Bangkok City Library on Ratchadamnoen Klang Road.
