Nestle Ice Cream (Thailand) Ltd., an ice cream market leader in innovation is organising a drawing contest entitled "Adventure of Eskimo and Friends". Pupils aged between 6-12 years are invited to demonstrate their drawing talent based on popular characters among children from the Nestle Eskimo ice cream wrapper. Winners will receive a scholarship and prizes worth over 100,000 baht. Submission date for all entries is no later than August 31, 2000.
Participants will be categorised into two levels: children aged 6-8 years old and 9-12 years old. Drawings must be executed on approximately 10" x 14" paper with any kind of colour. Each entry must feature "Eskimo" character and at least two of his friends Arni, a big bear and Georgy, a cute penguin. Entrants can see samples of these characters on Nestle Eskimo ice cream wrappers. The drawing must also be illustrate an adventure of these characters from the competition entrant's imagination and the adventure should be fun in the North Pole.
In addition, participants can add any other friends of Eskimo or other new friends from their imagination in their paper work.
Participants should submit their piece of drawing and an application form with one of wrapping of Nestle Eskimo ice cream to Shandwick International (Thailand) Ltd. at 900, Ton Son Tower, 10th Floor, Ploenchit Road, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330.
The 1st-prize (one prize each), 2nd-prize (3 prizes each), and 3rd-prize (5 prizes each) winners will receive a scholarship of 10,000 baht, 5,000 baht, and 3,000 baht with plagues, respectively. Ten commendation-prize winners of each level will receive a scholarship of 1,000 baht with certificates.
