First of all I would like to thank all of you for your invaluable time in attending Toshiba 2002 dealer convention today.
The year 2002 will be a great year for Toshiba with the concept of Sports and Health. We are very proud to inform you that Toshiba is the main sponsor of 2 international sporting events. The first one is the English Premier League which is very popular among the Thais. And the second is the greatest sports event of the world. That is FIFA or 2002 World Cup of which will take place in Japan and Korea in June next year. Toshiba is the official IT sponsor of this great event and the IT network of the program will all be handled by Toshiba IT Technology. These 2 important events will stimulate the big demand of electrical appliance products in Thailand
Towards the years 2001 and 2002, we are launching aggressively our new consumer products such as CTV Products and Home appliances Refrigerator, Washing machine and small HA.
Especially our Projection TV, the new series of 61”,50”,43” Theater Cool series, we have confidence in the sophisticated design and features, the hyper progressive feature.
Regarding refrigerator, we are launching new feature : 1 finger open model besides our water dispenser models to strengthen our leading position in this field.
In washing machine field, market is sharply increasing. Toshiba is launching full line up for both auto washer and twin tub.
Concern with LCD projector, we aim to be top 3 ranking in terms of market share and to be NO.1 in terms of technology & quality.
Thailand market is expanding with much more potential. Next year we expect to achieve sales at 2,600 million baht. Toshiba has committed that we will supplying new advanced products into this market in order to bring better life to Thai consumers.
