1. Attention on the radiance that beautiful skin has.
A secret common in beautiful skin is an orderly array of stratum corneum cells in 12 to 20 layers. Radiance of beautiful skin is actually “light from inside skin = internal light reflection” that the light goes into 12 to 20 layers of stratum corneum cells, becomes diffused at each layer and bounces back. Internal light reflection ratio of beautiful skin was measured and found to be more than 85%. On the other hand, when the stratum corneum structure is disordered by such as glycation, the internal light reflection rate goes down to less than 84% and skin radiance gets decreased.

In developing the new make-up powder, we found a clue from pearls which structure is similar to stratum corneum of skin. Formulated capsule style moisture ingredient “Essence in Nano Route Capsule” which was developed under POLA’s latest technique and has essence delivery effect. High-function ingredients common in B.A skincare items are confined in a capsule of the same structure as intercellular lipid. It fixes up the structure (layout) of intercellular lipids in entire stratum corneum and forms permeation route for high-function ingredients. While the capsule is opened due to watery condition in stratum corneum, the confined high-function ingredients are released and delivered to entire stratum corneum, providing aggressive aging care during daytime.
