The signing ceremony, held at King Bridge Tower, was attended by AIT Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Anat Arbhabhirama; AIT President Prof. Pai-Chi Li; ZDT Chairman Mr. Charles Shen; and ZDT President Mr. Chen-Fu Chien. The MoU focuses on research collaboration, talent development, and hands-on training initiatives aligned with industry needs.

It further establishes a framework for academic and cultural exchange in areas of mutual interest, including social sciences, engineering, and technology. Both parties are committed to developing joint research and educational programs that promote innovation and cross-border collaboration.

"I had the opportunity to visit Taiwan in August last year, where I was introduced to the ZDT Group through the leadership of President Li," said Dr. Anat Arbhabhirama. "I was deeply impressed by the rapid growth and transformation of ZDT Group from a regional enterprise to a global leader. This MoU sets the foundation for collaboration in three key areas: joint research, knowledge exchange, and capacity building in advanced technologies, and internship opportunities for AIT students. This partnership will not only promote innovations but also play a vital role in advancing technology and knowledge in Thailand."

Mr. Charles Shen stated that Zhen Ding and AIT will concentrate on three major areas: "talent cultivation," "technological cooperation," and "industry-academia linkage." Through internships, scholarships, and joint research programs, the two sides aim to nurture the next generation of engineers and management talents with both innovation and execution capabilities and achieve technological breakthroughs in key areas such as AI, smart manufacturing, and green materials. The goal of this in-depth collaboration is to drive technological innovation and industrial upgrading, establish a closer industry-academia connection, promote knowledge exchange and technology transfer, and enhance the competitiveness of both parties in the international market.

This cooperation is scheduled to officially kick off in the second half of this year. Looking ahead, based on the implementation results, it will gradually expand to more technological aspects and international exchange projects, further solidifying Zhen Ding's key position in the global tech supply chain and injecting innovative momentum into a smart and sustainable future.

Prof. Pai-Chi Li stated that the partnership marks a vital step forward in AIT and ZDT Group's shared commitment to fostering innovation, advancing education, and strengthening industry collaboration in Thailand and across the region.

"Our journey began in 2024, during a meeting in Taiwan. That initial meeting laid the foundation for a series of meaningful discussions, culminating in today's formal collaboration. I truly appreciate Chairman Shen, President Chien, and the ZDT leadership team's trust in this partnership and forward-looking vision. I also sincerely thank Dr. Anat for his leadership and support, which played a key role in making this collaboration possible," he added.

Mr. Chen-Fu Chien stated that the partnership contributes to ZDT Group's global expansion efforts. He emphasised that the collaboration reflects the company's mission to advance technology for the benefit of humanity and to promote environmental sustainability. Highlighting the importance of educational investment, he noted that the partnership with AIT will support research and development collaboration and the development of sustainable talent to drive industrial innovation in the region.
