This year, AXA Insurance Thailand partnered with the Raks Thai Foundation, a member of CARE International, to organize activities that aligned with AXA's sustainability pillars. Over 100 employees joined conservation efforts at the Bangpu Nature Education Center, which offers educational programs on biodiversity and protects one of the last indigenous mangrove forests in the inner Gulf of Thailand. Activities included mangrove planting, crab release programs, and site clean-ups, enhancing biodiversity and environmental awareness among participants.
Furthering AXA's inclusive protection goals, employees also supported the Youth Leadership and Occupational Skills Development Project by providing vocational training for children of registered migrant workers. Volunteers dedicated two days to creating personalized notebooks for the students and conducted engaging sessions on financial literacy, cooking, and waste management. This initiative empowers youth with practical skills and inspiration for a more secure future.
Mr. Guillaume Mirabaud, Chief Executive Officer of AXA Insurance Thailand, said: "This year marks the 40th anniversary of AXA Group, a milestone that reflects our belief that positive change begins with empowered individuals. We see every employee as a force for good, and by combining our time, skills, and compassion,
we can make a meaningful difference—whether in restoring the environment or supporting vulnerable communities. Together, we are committed to building a healthier, more inclusive society for all, while empowering the next generation of youth to inspire positive change and drive sustainable progress for a better future."
Additionally, in alignment with the One AXA initiative as part of AXA Global, Krungthai-AXA employees also joined the mangrove conservation efforts. Furthermore, AXA Insurance Thailand employees participated in Krungthai-AXA's "Green Air, Green Space in Town" initiative at Lumpini Park. The event featured activities such as garbage collection, tree planting, and a walk rally, all aimed at promoting green spaces in Bangkok.
