Since its launch in 2021, the campaign has recycled over 34,000 kg of PET bottles, equivalent to 1.6 million PET bottles (*calculation: forty-five 600ml PET bottles weigh approximately 1 kg; as of December 2024), and continues to grow each year. Notably, more than half of the participants have returned to recycle in subsequent campaigns.
In 2025, the recycling program is offering over 6,000 prizes valued more than 2 million baht—including a grand prize of an electric vehicle, and monthly rewards like IT gadgets and gold—to encourage recycling participation. For the first time, participants can also earn a LINE MAN Food 30% discount code valued up to 100 baht, with 4,800 coupons available. To expand its reach, this year's campaign introduces university roadshows featuring hands-on recycling workshops and fun games with special prizes.
With expanded partnerships now spanning 9 universities, TOPS and GO WHOLESALE, the program has also increased accessibility—offering more than 80 drop-off points nationwide, including the new addition of Surat Thani province in the South.
Coca-Cola continues to collaborate with leading recyclers like Indorama Ventures for PET plastics and Thai Beverage Can Ltd. for closed-loop recycling of aluminum cans, reinforcing its efforts toward more sustainable packaging solutions and minimizing waste. Existing partnerships remain crucial to the campaign's success, and Coca-Cola proudly recognizes its valued partners. Notable retail collaborators include Big C Supercenter Plc., CP Axtra (the operator of Makro and Lotus's), The Mall Group Co., Ltd, The Shell Company of Thailand, Siam Piwat Group, and Jungceylon, along with prize-sponsoring partner LINE MAN. These alliances demonstrate Coca-Cola's ongoing commitment to supporting partners in the collection and recycling of post-consumption packaging, reinforcing its closed-loop recycling system for enhanced packaging circularity.
Sarut Wittayarungruangsri, Senior Director of Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability, Coca-Cola Thailand and Laos, shared: "We are so proud to continue our support in the 'Coke Recycle Me with Trash Lucky' campaign for the fifth consecutive year. The initiative demonstrates our dedication to build more sustainable habits around sorting and recycling used packaging by encouraging consumer action. I would like to thank our partners for joining us in making a meaningful impact. As the main sponsor for prize and communication, we work closely with partners to leverage their audiences, boosting the campaign's reach and impact. This year, we focus on inspiring and recruiting more of the new generation to participate in our recycling efforts. Furthermore, we also aim to drive traffic to the existing drop-off locations across Greater Bangkok and Phuket, Songkhla, as well as Surat Thani, our new addition in the South."
Nattapak Atichartakarn, Co-founder and CEO of Trash Lucky Ltd., stated: "We are excited to kick off our fifth year by welcoming leading universities, TOPS, and GO Wholesale as new drop-off points. We've enhanced our partnership with LINE MAN, offering participants LINE MAN Food 30% discount code valued up to 100 baht, to appeal to young consumers eager for instant rewards. This year, we have expanded our partnerships to include leading universities, TOPS and GO WHOLESALE as new drop-off points. To make the campaign more engaging and enjoyable, we have planned university roadshows and a consumer event during the campaign period. Through this initiative, PET plastic bottles will be converted into recycled PET (rPET) flakes via our collaborations with Indorama Ventures, while the aluminum cans collected can return to a closed-loop recycling system through the collaboration with Thai Beverage Can, and the money raised from their recycling will be donated to the Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H. the Princess, an organization that produces and donates prosthetic legs for underprivileged amputees.
Consumers interested in participating in the campaign can easily register a Trash Lucky ID through LINE OA @TrashLucky and then start sorting the recyclable materials at home, including plastic, glass, paper, and metal. These should then be collected into separate bags by type, clearly marked with their full name and Trash Lucky ID. Sorted recyclables can then be dropped off at over 80 collection points, and participants can then look forward to winning prizes!
In this fifth year of "Coke Recycle Me with Trash Lucky" Campaign, Coca-Cola has supported a wide array of prizes. This year, as a special highlight, every recycling submission will receive a 30% discount code from LINE MAN Food, valued up to 100 baht (limited to 1 redemption per person per month).
