In an era of mounting energy and environmental challenges, the transition to clean energy and the adoption of digital technologies have become critical priorities that require collective action across all sectors. ASIA Sustainable Energy Week 2025 (ASEW) serves as a regional platform for collaboration, showcasing forward-thinking ideas, innovations, and technologies that accelerate the shift toward a secure, sustainable, and environmentally friendly energy future.
Dr. Prasert Sinsukprasert, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, stated that the global energy transition is accelerating rapidly, with a shared goal of reducing carbon emissions and advancing toward a sustainable energy system. Thailand is actively moving forward in this direction under the National Energy Plan, developed by the Ministry of Energy to support the country's targets for Carbon Neutrality and achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions. He emphasized that the Ministry has prioritized investment in renewable energy, the integration of digital technologies to enhance energy efficiency, and the engagement of all sectors in society. The Asia Sustainable Energy Week (ASEW) serves as a key platform in supporting these policies, providing opportunities for government, private sector, and academic, both domestic and international, to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and foster collaboration. This year, the Ministry of Energy is organizing an exhibition at ASEW to present Thailand's key energy policies and create a space for public and industrial stakeholders to participate. "We believe this event will be a powerful driving force in propelling Thailand's clean energy industry toward international standards in a tangible and meaningful way," he concluded.
Mr. Manu Leopairote, Chairman of Informa Markets Thailand, stated that the world is accelerating its transition toward sustainable clean energy. As a leading regional organizer of trade exhibitions and business matching events, Informa Markets is committed not only to the business dimension but also to fostering strong and lasting partnerships across all sectors, both domestic and international. He emphasized that Asia Sustainable Energy Week 2025 (ASEW) is not merely an exhibition—it is a platform that brings together knowledge, technology, and key players in the energy industry under one roof. The event has been rebranded and elevated to a truly Asia-level forum, and this year is held under the theme "Empowering Digital Transformation in Sustainable Energy Towards Net Zero." ASEW 2025 features a diverse range of exhibitors, covering renewable energy, energy management, and energy storage systems, with more than 1,500 leading global brands such as ABB, ANTAI SOLAR, ANDSOLAR, ATESS, BYD, DELTA, HITACHI ENERGY, HUAWEI, and SUNHOME. The event also includes international pavilions from China, Finland, Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.Additionally, the event will host over 200 conferences and seminars led by global experts, covering all dimensions of energy technology.
