Most recently, creating excitement and enthusiasm for Thai people nationwide to celebrate the success of the NEW GWM TANK 300 DIESEL, which will achieve 5,000 high-quality vehicle deliveries to Thai customers in October, opening the stage for "TOP RANK TANK MOD Contest 2025" the grandest GWM TANK car modification competition in Thailand, reflecting the DNA of TANKER enthusiasts who love customization with unique, outstanding, and distinctive characteristics while maintaining strength, coolness, and toughness at the same time, whether for stylish driving enthusiasts or off-road adventurers, to find the most excellent and eye-catching GWM TANK from first sight. The competition is divided into 2 formats for intense skill demonstration: Performance Competition or THE OFF-ROAD KING, inviting TANKER enthusiasts to challenge limits and test performance on off-road tracks after performance modifications, and Appearance Competition or THE CUSTOM KING, which includes both online competition participation and in-event judging that will be held on 18 October 2025, at ESC Park Rangsit, Pathum Thani. Two Challenges for TANKERS to Unleash Their Full Potential

  • FAN FAVOURITE AWARD - Platform to Show Different Styles in the Online World: This stage opens opportunities for TANKER enthusiasts who want to convey their unique GWM TANK modification identity through content posting on social media platforms (photos/videos), focusing on storytelling about modification concepts, real-world usage, and outstanding detail workmanship. Works will be judged based on the number of likes on Facebook within the specified period, with opportunities for public voting to find outstanding and distinctive characteristics that still maintain strength in true TANK Spirit style.
  • THE OFF-ROAD KING - Performance Testing by True Off-Road TANKER Enthusiasts: For true off-road TANKER enthusiasts who want to prove their performance upgrades. Each modified GWM TANK, whether enhanced in engine, suspension, wheels, or tires—will be tested on a creative off-road track under transparent, measurable, and verifiable rules. Safety will be strictly monitored, and official lap times are recorded. Judging will be based on the best lap time, reflecting the effectiveness of modifications in torque, responsiveness, stability, and power delivery under real conditions.
  • THE CUSTOM KING - Platform to Show Different Styles, Announcing Unique Identity to the World: A platform for TANKER owners to showcase one-of-a-kind designs that reflect their individuality. From bold colors and textures to body kits, wheels, lighting, and accessories, every detail can transform the GWM TANK into a standout masterpiece. Entries will be judged in two categories: THE BEST STYLISH for designs that are elegant, balanced, and modern, and THE BEST ADVENTURE for looks that are rugged, powerful, and adventure-ready.

For TANKER who want to join this one-of-a-kind competition, simply post photos or videos of your modified GWM TANK on your personal Facebook account (set to Public), share the inspiration behind your customization, include the hashtag #TANKMOD, and tagging Facebook pages @GWMTHAILAND and @GWMTANKTHAILAND, then complete the online registration form at https://forms.gle/gq9BYs1bRo1wKrVg8, select your competition category, and providing the required personal details (full name, contact information, Facebook account, car model, VIN or a copy of the vehicle registration). GWM's team will review the submission and confirm eligibility via phone or email to confirm your participation in the event.

Activity Application and Judging Period

  • Online competition FAN FAVOURITE AWARD registration from 19 September - 10 October 2025
  • On-site competition (both Performance and Appearance) registration from 19 September - 15 October 2025
  • Judging and award presentation
    • Online competition: Determined by the number of Facebook likes on each participant's post. The winners will be announced on 12 October 2025 (GWM reserves the right to count only real personal accounts to maintain fairness for all participants to meet the true purpose of the activity and will disqualify those who vote using fake accounts or have impure intentions in the competition. The committee's decision is final)
    • On-site competition: Determined by votes from event attendees together with a panel of distinguished experts from various fields. Judgement and award announcements will be held in the event on 18 October 2025.
