SCG Cement and Green Solutions, through The Concrete Products and Aggregate Co., Ltd. (CPAC), and DURA TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD, a world-leading specialist in the design, production, and installation of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) bridge girders for bridge construction and rehabilitation projects, have signed a technology licensing agreement. This partnership introduces Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) technology for advanced bridge engineering applications, delivering superior strength, durability, and extended service life while accelerating project timelines and reducing long-term maintenance costs. The collaboration aims to establish new standards for bridge and infrastructure development nationwide.
Mr. Surachai Nimlaor, President - SCG Cement and Green Solutions Business, revealed that CPAC, as Thailand's leading provider of ready-mix concrete and precast concrete products, has consistently worked to elevate the country's construction standards over many years. This commitment is particularly evident in large-scale infrastructure projects such as river-crossing bridges and flyovers, which are essential for supporting metropolitan growth and preparing for the nation's transportation infrastructure development plans.
