Bangchak Partners with Noovoleum to Launch Ucollect Box Pilot to Collect Used Cooking Oil for SAF Production

Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, represented by Mrs. Narupan Suthamkasem, Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Business Development, signed a Framework Agreement on Collaboration for the Ucollect Box Pilot with Mr. Philippe Micone, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Noovoleum, a technology partner company from Indonesia. The Ucollect Box is an automated used cooking oil collection service unit to be processed into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The signing ceremony took place at Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery on 11 December 2025.

The Ucollect Box was designed for convenience, safety, and ease of use, featuring quality sensors to ensure oil meets SAF production standards and connects to the Ucollect application that enables fast and seamless incentive payments under the slogan, "Ucollect - Easy Oil Drop, Fast Cash". The initiative will operate in conjunction with the "Fry to Fly" project, channelling the collected oil into Bangchak's SAF production. The pilot phase will deploy 5-10 Ucollect Boxes at accessible locations across Bangkok starting March 2026.
