In parallel, BSGF Company Limited (BSGF) delivered equipment to support the collection of used cooking oil at the university and surrounding villages. A professional team organized a demonstration of proper purchasing and testing procedures for used cooking oil, highlighting the health risks associated with high levels of polar compounds, which can cause serious diseases. The demonstrations aimed to build accurate knowledge, promote public health, and support long-term environmental sustainability.
This activity builds on the "Turning Old Waste into New Energy: Fry to Fly" partnership under Bangchak Group between BSGF, Bangkok Fuel Pipeline and Logistics Co., Ltd. (BFPL), and the university to collect used cooking oil from campus vendors and food operators for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production, established in late 2025.
