'Untitled' by THAWAN DUCHANEE
Estimated Price: THB 3,000,000 - 5,000,000
This painting by Thawan is imbued with exceptional artistic power and visually striking. Most notably, his masterful technique of gradually modulating color creates subtle variations in tonal intensity. Each brushstroke reveals a deep and comprehensive understanding of the subject matter, capturing every anatomical detail of the horse with remarkable precision. And, most importantly, the artist infuses the image with a vivid sense of vitality, a major challenge in animal painting. This work clearly demonstrates Thawan's rare and outstanding artistic ability.
'The Lonely Dream' by SUCHAO SISGANES
Estimated Price: THB 12,000,000 - 13,000,000
This painting by Suchao is a significant work, as it is one of the few large-scale pieces he created. Considered part of his late period, it was made with the intention of being submitted to the "31st National Exhibition of Art" during his 60s. This work reflects his deep dedication to his profession. The composition depicts a woman lying motionless, while a cat stands above, gazing at the moon. Suchao metaphorically compared himself to the lonely cat, symbolizing his grief over the loss of his sister, who meant everything to him. This profound sorrow is expressed through an Expressionist approach and his signature dark, cool color palette, often referred to as his "blue period."
'Wat Pho' by PICHAI NIRAND
Estimated Price: THB 600,000 - 800,000
This work by Pichai is one of his most significant early pieces, created during a period when the artist consistently received awards from art competitions. Its style reflects the influence of Western modern art, corresponding to the time when he was studying under Professor Silpa Bhirasri. Another notable aspect of the work from this period is the practice of working on site; the scene depicted here is Wat Pho. This painting clearly differs from the artist's later works. The composition features simplified forms and angular structures influenced by Cubism, while a distinct sense of Thai identity has not yet fully emerged. Nevertheless, the artist successfully conveys a calm and meditative atmosphere through a balanced use of cool and warm tones. This work represents an important transitional phase before the artist entered his Buddhist art period.
"We are animal" by GONGKAN - KANTAPON METHEEKUL
Estimated Price: THB 700,000 - 900,000
This work by Gongkan was created while the artist was living in New York City and is particularly compelling, as it reveals his artistic development before his well-known characters began emerging from a black hole. It is also one of his early works that already contains all the key elements of his distinctive style. Conceptually, the work reflects on how people's lives are shaped and constrained by their environment and social expectations, often causing them to forget their own spiritual nature.
'Untitled' by ALEX FACE - PATCHARAPOL TANGRUEN
Estimated Price: THB 1,200,000 - 1,500,000
This painting of a three-eyed child figure covered in soft fur is one of the most recognizable signatures of Alex Face, a renowned street artist from Thailand with international acclaim. The origin of this symbolic imagery stems from spiritual beliefs and later evolved into an eye that represents questioning and awareness. The character is also inspired by the artist's daughter. Therefore, it reflects a period in which he became deeply aware of the future of the corning generations. As a result, the work is both visually compelling and serves as a reminder of the importance of attentiveness to the world around us.
'Untitled' by TAWEE NANDAKWANG
Estimated Price: THB 4,500,000 - 5,000,000
This oil painting by Tawee Nandakwang is highly valuable as it is one of the artist's early works. Due to health issues, he later shifted to working primarily with acrylic paint. The work presents an imagined Thai landscape, through which the artist conveys a sense of the surreal with great sensitivity. The painting is also in excellent condition, as it was once loaned to a renowned museum in Japan and has therefore been preserved under high professional standards.
'Untitled' by KORAKRIT ARUNANONDCHAI
Estimated Price: THB 200,000 - 250,000
Korakrit, an internationally acclaimed Thai contemporary artist, has exhibited his work at MoMA PS1 in New York City. His artistic creations are highly engaging, especially his video installation art. He illustrates distinctive elements from important artworks of different historical periods, rearranging and adapting them to his own narrative style. Through this process, he connects present-day events with complex historical contexts. This work is another strong example of his practice, particularly through the traces of paint from handprints and background imagery that invite the viewer to meditate on what they see.
"EL MIEDO DESGASTA EL ALMA" by RIRKRIT TIRAVANIJA & TOMAS VU
Estimated Price: THB 300,000 - 500,000
This work is a collaboration between two international artists: Rirkrit Tiravaniia, a Thai artist who works with relational aesthetics, and Tomas Vu, a Vietnamese artist who works with painting on materials and is also a professor at Columbia University. The work clearly reflects the character of conceptual art through its engagement with complex historical narratives. The exhibition title, Green Go Home, serves as the key message. The phrase has been used in Latin America to tell Americans to leave their territory. The work criticizes colonialism and its lasting impact on the present. The Spanish phrase "EL MIEDO DESGASTA EL ALMA," meaning "fear eats away the soul," appears in the work and invites the viewer to call on awareness of historical truths.
"DEDICATED TO THE ONE I LOVE WITH ROSE" by CHATCHAI PUIPIA
Estimated Price: THB 1,800,000 - 2,300,000
This painting by Chatchai is highly compelling, especially for its confident brushwork, including the use of vivid colors that carry a sense of emotional weight and irony. Beneath the large self-portrait lies a deeper conceptual layer, inspired by Francis Bacon's paintings of Pope Innocent X. The work reflects a critical view of a society driven by the pursuit of power.
