For the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show, Isuzu is committed to delivering an experience that reflects our distinctive identity and outstanding performance, under the concept "THE ONE & ONLY with YUU CHAN," reflecting the concept of "Isuzu Trusted Buddy," which aims to reinforce the Isuzu brand as a trusted companion standing alongside Thai customers on every journey. The booth highlights the warmth and friendliness of "Yuu-chan," Isuzu's newest mascot, brought to life through immersive 3D visuals on a large LED screen, creating a realistic experience that blends seamlessly with the brand's uniquely outstanding automotive identity of "ISUZU D-MAX… THE ONE & ONLY." Together with the MU-X "THE NEXT PEAK," the display reinforces Isuzu's commitment to being a reliable partner, standing side by side with Thai customers in every situation.
Isuzu is showcasing a total of 15 vehicles, including 10 popular standard models across the full lineup, led by the Isuzu D-MAX pickup and MU-X PPV. In addition, Isuzu presents another alternative for Thai customers with the electric pickup "Isuzu D-MAX EV," which is being introduced for sale for the first time at the event. The display is further enhanced with 5 specially customized vehicles in various styles, designed to inspire and captivate attention. Leading the lineup are the New! ISUZU V-CROSS 4x4 "THE ONE & ONLY" and MU-X "THE NEXT PEAK" 4WD, featuring for the first time the 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine in a four-wheel-drive system, which was recently launched at the end of February and is now showcased at the event. Key highlights include the prototype Isuzu D-MAX racing pickup, which will compete in the "ISUZU CHALLENGE THAILAND 2026," and the ISUZU V-CROSS 4x4 equipped with the 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine, developed in collaboration with WILD, Thailand's leading accessory manufacturer, to design a bespoke styling kit specifically for the ISUZU V-CROSS 4x4 with 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine. Also on display is the MU-X "THE NEXT PEAK" 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE (RS variant, Dolomite White Pearl), enhanced with an aggressive Top Secret SPL styling, marking the world's first unveiling of the "TOP Secret The First PPV" project. In addition, the MU-X "THE NEXT PEAK" 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE (Active variant, Dolomite White Pearl), created in collaboration with the Bangkok Hot Rod Custom Show, Thailand's largest custom car event organizer, is reimagined with a striking "Premium Tough" concept, designed to captivate all eyes.
In addition, as a global leader in commercial vehicles, Isuzu continues to fully support the transition toward carbon neutrality under the concept of "Multi-pathways to Carbon Neutrality." The company remains committed to developing products and services tailored specifically for commercial vehicle needs. Most recently, Isuzu has built upon the success of its new-generation biodiesel development project in collaboration with Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan) and PTT Public Company Limited. Following Phase 1 at the end of 2023, conducted in partnership with Mon Transport Co., Ltd., the project tested the use of HVO (Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil)—a biodiesel derived from used cooking oil—at a 30% blend in Isuzu ELF trucks, alongside trials of Isuzu electric trucks. This initiative successfully reduced CO? emissions by up to 30%. Currently, Phase 2 testing has been successfully completed, further increasing the use of alternative energy by combining B20 palm biodiesel with 30% HVO. The tests were conducted under real driving conditions, both in urban and upcountry environments, using the latest Isuzu pickup models compliant with Euro 5 standards. The results have been highly positive—fuel efficiency remains unchanged, while CO? emissions have been reduced by up to 50%. This marks another significant step for Isuzu in contributing to the reduction of global carbon footprint.
At the same time, as a heartfelt token of appreciation for the trust that customers have always placed in Isuzu, we have prepared two major campaigns of the year—"MAXFORCE MAX DEAL" and "ISUZU my-MEMBER my-Bonus"—to deliver the highest value to Isuzu customers nationwide
