DKSH Business Unit Healthcare Thailand, a strategic healthcare business partner and leading provider of Market Expansion Services for pharmaceutical, over-the-counter (OTC), consumer health and medical device companies, has expanded its strategic partnership with Bayer Thailand to broaden the access to endometriosis treatment in Thailand.

Under this partnership, DKSH serves as Bayer's commercialization partner for this therapy in the Thai market, delivering services such as distribution, promotion, medical engagement, and nationwide market access. This expansion reinforces DKSH's commitment to delivering patient-centric healthcare solutions, supporting long-term sustainable growth for its partners, and strengthening healthcare ecosystems across Asia.

This development builds on the successful alliance between DKSH and Bayer. Following several months of strong commercial execution and performance in Thailand, Bayer has expanded the scope of the partnership, underscoring its confidence in DKSH's proven capabilities.

Through this collaboration, DKSH will leverage its deep local expertise, established presence across hospitals, specialist Obstetrics and Gynecology clinics, and retail pharmacy, as well as its strong medical and commercial infrastructure to expand access to endometriosis treatment. By targeting disease progression and symptom management, this partnership will offer a long-term therapeutic option for patients seeking alternatives to surgical intervention.

"We are pleased to expand our partnership with DKSH in Thailand," said Ashraf Al?Ouf, President & Representative Director at Bayer Japan & Head of Commercial Operations APAC, Pharmaceuticals. In a short time, they've shown strong commercial execution and a real understanding of the local market, reinforcing our trust in them as a partner. This expansion is not just about business; it is about improving access to women's healthcare, especially for those living with endometriosis. Our collaboration aims to ensure more women in Thailand can access the quality treatment they deserve."

"This partnership with Bayer underscores DKSH's commitment to addressing unmet needs in women's health and ensuring innovative treatments are accessible to patients. In Thailand, many women living with endometriosis, a condition estimated to affect 5-10% of women, continue to face challenges in diagnosis and access to appropriate care [1]. The prevalence is even higher - 60-80% among women with chronic pelvic pain or severe dysmenorrhea. Through this collaboration, we aim to help improve access to treatment as part of our mission to deliver better healthcare for all." said Mr. Patrik Grande, Head of Business Unit Healthcare, DKSH. "By leveraging our extensive distribution network and commercial expertise, we aim to help close these access gaps, and enable more Thai women to receive timely, quality treatment, while strengthening the sustainability of the healthcare system. We are proud that Bayer has chosen to deepen our collaboration based on our performance. By combining our integrated solutions with Bayer's strong women's health portfolio, we look forward to delivering meaningful impact for patients."

The women's health segment continues to be a key growth area in Thailand, making this collaboration strategically important for both partners. Together, DKSH and Bayer aim to lay a strong foundation for improving the quality of life of people in Thailand through reliable and equitable access to high-quality healthcare products and services, while reinforcing DKSH's role as a long-term strategic partner in the region.
