The EV fire truck was developed and converted to an electric powertrain under a collaboration between Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited and Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Khon Kaen Campus. Initiated in 2023, the collaboration covers the development and conversion of the fire truck, as well as academic work, research, innovation, and technologies related to modern automotive engineering. The vehicle supports the use of cleaner energy and helps reduce emissions, while maintaining full operational capability for firefighting and emergency response.

Following the handover, Bangchak also hosted a traditional Songkran water-pouring ceremony for community leaders, paying respect and fostering goodwill in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
