"The Awakening Digital Literacy Creator 2026 activity marks another significant step that reflects the evolving role of EDC Trainers from 'knowledge receivers' to 'knowledge creators' through Original Content production. This content will creatively and accessibly disseminate digital and AI understanding to a wider audience. When we provide the right space for potential talents to take action, the outcome goes beyond mere campaigns or portfolios; it builds a network of communicators and changemakers who will help elevate Thai society's digital immunity in the AI era."
ETDA has continuously driven the digital skill development of Thais through the EDC project since 2021. Today, the EDC Trainer network covers all 77 provinces nationwide. Within the first five months of 2026, more than 21,443 individuals have completed the EDC Plus training. By the end of 2026, ETDA aims to expand the network by adding at least 2,000 more EDC Trainers through collaborations with provincial and district digital agencies and other related partners, ultimately passing on digital knowledge to no fewer than 60,000 citizens across the country. Every participant in the Awakening Digital Literacy Creator 2026 activity is already a certified EDC Trainer, proving that this platform is not just a starting point for learning, but a stage to transform knowledge into creative power and tangible societal change.
Dr. Twarath Sutabutr, Director of OKMD, added, "The core mission of OKMD and TK Park is to make learning accessible, practical, and connected to people's lives—especially now when AI is completely transforming how humans access, use, and share knowledge. The question we've always prioritized is how to design learning spaces and processes that empower people with the skills to ask questions, verify information, understand contexts, and apply their learning for the benefit of society. Awakening Digital Literacy Creator 2026 is therefore a stage where ETDA's work clearly converges with OKMD and TK Park's directions, as it opens opportunities for participants to take action and transform knowledge."
