Nestle Invites Thais to Turn Everyday Steps into Wheelchairs for People in Need through "Walk More, Give More" Campaign

Nestle, a leading food and beverage company that has supported Thai communities for several decades, is inviting everyone to improve health while also helping society through the "Walk More, Give More" campaign. The initiative turns everyday steps into a positive impact for others: every 10 million steps accumulated via the LINE Official Account @NestleThailand will be turned into one wheelchair donated to those in need through partner organizations, namely the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), and The Mirror Foundation's "Puay Hai Yuem" (Lending Medical Equipment to the Sick) Project. The campaign aims to achieve 200 wheelchairs over a six-week period, running from August 15 to September 26, 2026.

Nestle is continuing its "Walk More, Give More" campaign for the fourth year, a meaningful initiative that turns healthy steps into wheelchairs for people in need, with every 10 million steps contributing towards one wheelchair. To date, 182 wheelchairs have been donated over the past three years under this campaign.

Ms. Salinla Seehaphan, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director at Nestle (Thai) Ltd., said, "Guided by our core philosophy of Good food, Good life, Nestle has consistently produced tasty, high-quality food and beverages along with activities that promote a good quality of life for Thais. This includes our ongoing Walk More, Give More campaign. This year, we are expanding the campaign to reach the general public, encouraging Thais to improve their health while collectively creating a better quality of life for those in need. Through our LINE Official Account (@NestleThailand), participants can easily collect their steps, encouraging daily physical activity and inspiring them to walk more to turn those steps into wheelchairs for individuals with mobility restrictions."

The campaign was designed based on consumer insights showing that people still want to do good for society, but seek actions that are easy to incorporate into their daily lives without requiring major lifestyle changes. It also aligns with health and wellness trends and highlights the benefits of walking for long-term health and longevity.

This year's "Walk More, Give More" campaign has received support from external partners, including the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The official launch event was recently held at Lumpini Park to spark a social movement towards good health and a good life together, demonstrating how every small step can come together to create a big impact. A highlight of the launch event was a collection of nine specially designed wheelchairs uniquely decorated by nine artists, including Tod - Aruk Ornvilai (Sahred Toy), Tui - Boonsit Yoothavorn (Jmons), Mick - Monthon Viseshsin, and Atom - Pakon Kaewdee (Atompakon). Nestle presented these nine wheelchairs to Lumpini Park for visitors to borrow free of charge, providing colorful convenience for individuals with mobility challenges and making public spaces more accessible and inclusive.

Turn your daily steps into something more meaningful for the society through wheelchair donation with Nestle. Join in the Walk More, Give More campaign via the LINE Official Account @NestleThailand from August 15 to September 26, 2026.
