This cross-sector partnership creates an integrated recycling ecosystem. NEO supports the establishment of the waste bank with resources, knowledge, communications, and coordination with the community, integrating local efforts into the NEO Circular Waste Hub. Simultaneously, GC YOUTURN contributes its expertise and data management platform to oversee the entire lifecycle—from community education and source separation to waste aggregation. It ensures clear polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic bottles are systematically directed to ENVICCO, a recycled plastic resin manufacturing facility under GC Group.
At the heart of the initiative is deep community integration, establishing the Bueng Kho Hai Community Recycle Waste Bank as Central Community Recycling Management Hub delivering long-term local benefits. Household waste is sorted and collected before being channeled into recovery streams. Post-consumer plastics are sent to ENVICCO to be processed into high-grade Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) resin, which is then reintroduced as raw material for new packaging across NEO's brand portfolio, including BeNice. Other recyclable materials, such as metals and glass bottles, are directed to local recyclers and buyers.
This closed-loop system directly reduces virgin plastic consumption and greenhouse gas emissions across the entire value chain. It reinforces NEO's Low-Carbon Packaging initiatives, accelerates its Net Zero Pathway, and prepares the organization for future Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations.
"The Waste Bank Engine": Generating Value Beyond Revenue
The Bueng Kho Hai Community Recycle Waste Bank is structured around local ownership and long-term operational self-sufficiency. With venue support and administrative coordination provided by the Bueng Kho Hai SAO, the Bueng Kho Hai Elderly Club and the Waste Bank Committee lead day-to-day operations—purchasing, weighing, sorting, and logging transactions via the GC YOUTURN platform. Revenue generated from recyclable sales is converted into savings accounts and welfare funds for members, while empowering local senior citizens with active, valued roles in community development.

From Local Success to Scalable Impact
