The Miss International Queen(R) 2026 pageant, organized by Tiffany's Show Pattaya, in collaboration with Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, the Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Prachuap Khiri Khan Office, brought together delegates from 27 countries for a special three-day, two-night journey to Hua Hin from September 10-12, 2026. Designed around the concept of Nature, Culture & Wellness Tourism, the program brought fashion, natural heritage, local culture, and well-being together in one immersive journey.
September 10: A Moving Fashion Set Aboard the SRT Royal Blossom
The journey began in Bangkok aboard the SRT Royal Blossom, bound for Hua Hin. Along the way, the train was transformed into a moving fashion set, with all 27 delegates appearing in looks by Jim Thompson that reflected the contemporary appeal of Thai fashion against the changing scenery beyond the carriage windows. The special fashion series was photographed by Thai fashion photographer Oat Chaiyasith Junjuerdee, recognized as one of the world's top 20 fashion photographers.
A Lady Classic Welcome at Hua Hin Railway Station
Upon arriving in Hua Hin, the delegates received a warm welcome and sampled local refreshments, experiencing the gracious hospitality of the Hua Hin community. Later that evening, all 27 delegates attended "Welcome to Prachuap Khiri Khan" at the historic Hua Hin Railway Station, an enduring landmark of this renowned resort city. The event was organised through the collaboration of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, the Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Prachuap Khiri Khan Office, and other local partner organisations. Mr. Preeda Sukjai, Vice Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, presided over the event, while Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul, Mayor of Hua Hin Hua Hin Municipality, delivered the welcoming remarks. Against the station's timeless setting, the delegates also enjoyed a ceremonial welcome performance showcasing the area's distinctive local identity.
A key highlight was the transformation of the railway platform into a runway in the heart of the city. Appearing in Lady Classic looks, each of the 27 delegates brought her own personality and individual style to the theme, adding colour and elegance to the historic landmark while presenting Hua Hin to global audiences as a destination with much more to offer than its celebrated seaside appeal.
The venue was also transformed into a nostalgic setting, with a Night Market providing a vibrant backdrop. The delegates had the opportunity to discover the province's signature dishes and desserts, alongside local art and creative works inspired by traditional craftsmanship—bringing together Hua Hin's fashion, flavours, artistry and way of life in one memorable evening.
September 11: From the Runway to Nature—Mangroves, Coastal Life, and Wellness
After the fashion-led opening day, the second day shifted the focus to nature and well-being, beginning with yoga and relaxation before the delegates explored some of Prachuap Khiri Khan's most important natural areas.
At Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park and Pranburi Forest Park, the delegates experienced the richness of wetland and mangrove ecosystems through boat trips and nature walks, while learning about responsible approaches to protecting coastal resources.
The program also offered a glimpse into another side of the city at Hua Hin Fishing Pier, where the seaside atmosphere, fresh local seafood, and stories of communities whose lives have long been connected to the coast revealed a Hua Hin shaped not only by beaches and hotels, but also by nature, community, and local flavor.
September 12: Thai Performing Arts, Khomapastr (Kho-ma-phat) Craftsmanship, and Muay Thai
On the final day, the delegates visited Vic Hua Hin, an important performing arts space in the city, for a session led by National Artist Patravadi Mejudhon. Through performance, movement, and physical expression, they explored how Thai performing arts communicate stories, ways of life, and cultural perspectives to international audiences.
The journey continued at Khomapastr, Hua Hin's long-established hand-printed textile house, where the delegates discovered the creative process behind its signature patterns and took part in a hands-on workshop. Working across both silk and cotton, Khomapastr reflects a legacy of colour, pattern, and artisanal skill that has been passed down and continuously developed across generations.
The trip concluded at The Legend Arena Hua Hin with an introduction to Muay Thai led by View Yaowapa Boorapolchai, former taekwondo athlete and bronze medallist at the 2004 Olympic Games. The session covered fundamental stance, movement, guard, and punching techniques, giving all 27 delegates the opportunity to experience first-hand a martial art that brings together discipline, focus, strength, and respect for one's opponent.
Across the three-day journey, the delegates experienced the many dimensions of Hua Hin—from the classic romance of rail travel and contemporary Thai fashion to national parks, mangrove ecosystems, coastal communities, performing arts, Muay Thai, and hand-printed textiles. Together, these experiences presented an approach to tourism that combines memorable travel with environmental awareness, support for local knowledge, and shared value for communities.
