Campari and Alchemy Wines & Spirits (Thailand) recently hosted Thailand's official Negroni Week Opening Night at Stella, Capella Bangkok, marking the 14th edition of the global initiative that brings together the international hospitality community in support of meaningful social and environmental causes.
Launched in 2013 by Imbibe Magazine, Negroni Week has grown from just 120 participating venues in its inaugural year to thousands of bars and restaurants around the world, raising more than US$5 million for charitable causes.
This year, Imbibe Magazine, Campari and Slow Food continue their global collaboration to amplify Negroni Week's impact across more than 160 countries. By bringing together the hospitality industry and Slow Food's international network, the initiative supports positive change through sustainability, education, equity, diversity, and the preservation of local food and beverage cultures.
At the heart of the initiative is the Negroni Week Fund, through which donations from participating venues support Slow Food community projects around the world. These programmes focus on strengthening local communities, preserving cultural and culinary traditions, and providing education and opportunities within the food and beverage industry.
Throughout Negroni Week, guests are invited to visit participating bars, enjoy their interpretations of the iconic Negroni, and contribute to a global movement supporting a more sustainable, inclusive and equitable food and beverage system.
The official opening celebration at Stella, Capella Bangkok brought together representatives from Campari, Alchemy Wines & Spirits (Thailand), the hospitality industry, and distinguished guests to celebrate the enduring legacy of the Negroni while highlighting the global bar community's power to create positive change.
