UOB Thailand has partnered with Caltex, one of the world's leading fuel service station brands, to help alleviate travel expenses for Thai motorists. The collaboration introduces the "UOB Friday Surprise" campaign, offering a special privilege to customers. Upon spending 1,000 baht on fuel and redeeming 1,000 UOB Rewards Points, cardholders will immediately receive a 500 baht Star CASH card for their subsequent refuelling. This privilege is available on the last Friday of each month from October to December 2026.

UOB is therefore committed to helping ease this financial burden for our customers. We purposefully designed this campaign in collaboration with Caltex to enable customers to utilise their existing UOB Rewards Points for essential daily expenses. Exchanging points for a fuel card to use on their next visit presents a highly rewarding option to maximise point value and reduce everyday living costs."

UOB credit cardholders are eligible to redeem this privilege on the last Friday of the month from October to December 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., at participating Caltex service stations. The offer is limited to one redemption per customer per day, and capped at 250 redemptions per service station. To qualify, customers must spend a minimum of 1,000 baht per sales slip and redeem 1,000 UOB Rewards Points to receive the 500 baht Star CASH card for their next refuelling.
