CP Foods supplies foods for Samut Sakhon's field hospitals

Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CP Foods) donated 16,000 packs of ready-to-eat meals to support people under quarantine and frontline medical workers at field hospitals in Samut Sakhon province. The effort is as a part of an ongoing relief project called "CPF Food from the heart against COVID-19".

Mr. Thiraphat expressed appreciation to the company for its continuous contribution to Samut Sakhon. The food products will greatly boost the morale of both medical staffs and patients under quarantine at 9 field hospitals in the province.

"Thanks to numerous supports from private sector, particularly CP Foods. We are able to manage the outbreak. This is a lot of positive signs for the situation in Samut Sakhon." he said.

Previously, CP Foods gave away 61,200 packs of meals to supports medical staffs working in the frontline against COVID-19 in 15 hospitals of 6 high risk provinces, including Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Suphanburi and Kanchanaburi.

The company has also extended a helping hand to migrant workers by joining forces with Labor Protection Network (LPN), a human rights non-profit organization, to provide 30,000 packs of meals, and 10,000 pack of eggs to 1,200 migrant families living around Mahachai shrimp market. Moreover, the company in collaboration with CP Group donated surgical masks to people of 4 nationalities, including Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, via their embassies.
