Krungsri Auto, a leader in automotive finance under Bank of Ayudhya PCL, announced relief measures for customers affected by the new emerging wave of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and stands ready to continually provide proactive assistance during this challenging time. Krungsri Auto also launched the online channel for the submission of requests to enter the program, in order to provide customers more convenient services and swift support.

Mrs. Kittiya Srisanit, Head of Krungsri Auto Group, Bank of Ayudhya PCL, said, "Krungsri Auto had introduced relief programs for all auto finance customers who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, according to the first-phase and second-phase measures. After the program concluded, we continued to offer aids based on the circumstances and needs of each affected customer on a case-by-case basis. In late December 2020 when the number of newly infected people was rising and the impacts of the new emerging wave was becoming more widespread, we proactively offered a grace period of repayments to those in the high-risk and restricted areas immediately."

"Recently, after the Bank of Thailand has extended financial relief measures to retail borrowers who have been affected by the new emerging wave of COVID-19, Krungsri Auto has launched additional measures, including reduced installment amount up to 30% of the original amount and, for customers in the maximum control zone according the government's announcement, a maximum grace period of three months. The program covers both car and motorcycle hire-purchase loan (a grace period of both principal repayment and interests) and auto loan (a grace period of principal repayment only)," added Mrs. Kittiya.

Additionally, to ensure that the service system capacity meets the rising demand for timely customer support, Krungsri Auto has launched the online channel https://service.krungsriauto.com:8443/eform/kapakpon-cv19/, through which customers can submit a request to enter the relief program. Customers can also reach Krungsri Auto for more information via Krungsri Auto Call Center 02-740-7400 press 3 or press 5 and Krungsri Auto branches nationwide.

"Krungsri Auto stands ready to provide aids to all customers who have been impacted by the pandemic, based on the specific circumstances and individual needs of each affected customer, per our commitment to the Responsible Lending practice," concluded Mrs. Kittiya.
