Pfizer appoints Deborah Seifert as a new Country Manager for Thailand and Indochina

Pfizer Thailand has announced the appointment of Deborah Seifert as the new Country Manager for Thailand and Indochina, making her the second woman to take this position since the company was established in the kingdom over 60 years ago.

In her role of Country Manager, Ms. Seifert will oversee Pfizer Biopharmaceuticals Group operations in Thailand and Indochina where she will establish and execute strategies to grow Pfizer's business through portfolio management of innovative products in various therapeutic areas, i.e., Vaccines, Oncology, Anti-infectives, Internal Medicine, Inflammation & Immunology and Rare Disease.  She will lead the whole organization to deliver Pfizer Thailand's commitment of bringing breakthrough medicines to change patients' lives. Her priority will be to collaborate with healthcare providers, governments and local communities to help enhance opportunities for improved access to innovative medicines and vaccines for the Thai population.

Deborah, who has an outstanding record in talent development, is a Pfizer veteran and accomplished leader with in-depth and diverse pharmaceutical industry experiences. During her more than 25 years with the company, she has held various management positions at Pfizer in the U.S., including marketing, commercial development and commercial operations in various therapeutic categories, in local, regional and global roles. With her economics education background and strong leadership skills as well as her industry know-how, she will be a driving force to achieve Pfizer Thailand's ambitious goal to improve patients' access to reliable, affordable healthcare and breakthrough medicines, and to make Pfizer Thailand a great place to work.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she has just been able to move from the U.S. to Thailand recently.
