Cargill, in collaboration with the Internal Security Operations Command Region 2 and Suranaree University of Technology, rolled out the Agriculture for Lunch program for needy schools in the northeastern region. The project uses an integrated approach to educate them about nutrition and food that are good for their physical development and growth. It also empowers students through trainings about modern agricultural activities aimed at motivating them to become young farmers. We hope that the project will equip them with the skills and knowledge required to make a living and a build a career in the future. With cooperation from the public sector and community leaders, the project has successfully achieved its goals."

The Agriculture for Lunch program includes activities to educate and develop skills of young farmers such as hydroponic vegetable and mushroom cultivation, fish farming and raising chicken for eggs.
