Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort has introduced a fun filled staycation offer for families and friends to ring in the Thai New Year in traditional Lanna style or celebrate an enchanting Easter holiday this April.  The limited offer starts from THB 8,500 per night for two guests sharing accommodation.

For those who seek a superior holiday experience that can be as spirited, laidback or personalised as their heart and soul desire, Anantara Golden Triangle's traditional Easter and Songkran programmes offer the young and young-at-heart all the thrills and frills that one expects from a luxury resort in a secluded location.

Traditional Thai New Year festivities are exquisitely catered for, albeit with a few three-ton twists.  During the Songkran holiday from 13th to 15th April 2021, guests can participate in age-old Buddhist blessing ceremonies and colourful parades with long drums and traditional dancers; a myriad of cultural experiences and activities for children; and a celebratory family style Northern Khantoke dinner of Lanna cuisine delights.  No Songkran celebration in Thailand is complete without water games, and the resort's herd of rescued elephants are sure to make a splash on 13th and 15th April when they will join the fun and throw water.

Guests celebration the Easter holiday at Anantara Golden Triangle will awake to a sumptuous breakfast of traditional Easter delights on 4th April, followed by an Easter egg hunt for the whole family, and egg painting and chocolate decorating activities for children.

The multi-award-winning luxury resort in the fabled Golden Triangle is perched on a hill overlooking the confluence of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar, with grazing elephants in the most stunning of natural settings below.  Anantara Golden Triangle is world-famous for its elephant camp that, along with the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation (GTAEF), were set up in 2003 primarily to help street begging elephants and others that cannot help themselves.  To date over 60 elephants have been rescued from Thailand's city streets and other aggravating circumstances, of which 23 now live in the jungle environment of the resort.

Here guests can participate in unique elephant experiences, including the Walking With Giants signature experience that provides an optimum way of getting to know the elephants and develop a deeper emotional connection with them.  And, in a world first, guests can spend the night observing Thailand's majestic elephants in their natural habitat while staying in unique transparent Jungle Bubbles.

Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort's staycation offer is valid for stays during April 2021 and is available for Thai residents and expatriates living in Thailand.  Rates start from THB 8,500 per night for up to two people staying in a Three Country View Room and THB 12,500 per night in a Three Country View Suite.  A surcharge for one child aged four to twelve years staying with parents is applicable at THB 2,000 per night, or THB 3,000 per night for a third adult staying in the same suite. Family suites that can accommodate up to six guests are also available.  This special offer includes accommodation; sumptuous daily breakfast; one elephant experience per person; and highspeed Wi-Fi throughout the resort.
