KTC's Board of Directors passed resolutions to approve a dividend payment at 0.88 Baht per share and an acquisition of 75.05 million KTB Leasing shares in its 2021 Shareholder's Meeting

Mr. Rathian Srimongkol, President & Chief Executive Officer, "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, along with the Board of Directors, held the 2021 Annual General Shareholder's Meeting. The Board of Directors had approved a dividend payment for the 2021 business turnover at a rate of 0.88 Baht per one ordinary share, or a total dividend payment of 2,268,933,982 Baht, which shall be paid within May 7, 2021. Moreover, the Board approved the acquisition of a total of 75,050,000 or 75.05 percent stake of KTB Leasing's total common shares from Krungthai Bank Public Company Limited, in order to allow KTC to offer full-service loans related to automobiles, expand its product range under hire purchase and leasing businesses to KTC's existing customer base, and increase future business expansion opportunity into the SME credit market. These factors will allow KTC to have a higher proportion of collateralized loans and better prepare for risks associated with uncertainty related to business operations. The Firm will take advantage of Krungthai Leasing's strengths and assets from the 11 branches located in major provinces throughout Thailand to build relationships with local customers or distributors in those areas, as well as introduce other KTC services to the customer bases of Krungthai Leasing and Krungthai Bank.

The meeting was held at the Grand Hall, The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok. Collectively as part of the "Care the Bear" project, KTC reduced a total of 122,903.98 kgCO2 in carbon footprint, equivalent to planting 13,657 large trees, along with adhering to measures and announcing guidelines for attendance of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for the year 2021 due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus and privacy notes prior to the event date.
