Bussaya Satirapipatkul, Head of Customer & Service Management at AIS said, "In the new wave of Covid, in which infection numbers are very worrying, one way Thai people can help deal with this situation is to stay at home to reduce contact and spread of infection. One essential for staying at home is a food menu with variety at a reasonable cost, from shops that they trust. This is how AIS came to cooperate with five leading food delivery brands, Grab, foodpanda, LINE MAN Wongnai, Gojek and Robinhood, to give AIS customers special privileges from tasty dishes. They will earn privileges when ordering from all five delivery providers, whose combined network covers over 300,000 participating outlets nationwide, and can just redeem AIS Points for a discount of up to 60 baht. Customers can redeem privileges easily through our myAIS app from today onwards.

"AIS is the only operator collaborating with all five food delivery providers in the campaign, 'Joining forces to eat, relaxed at home with AIS Points'. This collaboration is a key connector bringing convenience to people staying at home during the pandemic. Even more importantly, customers get to help out and give hope to every group of restaurant operators who are currently closed to sit-down customers, as well as the delivery workers, who are the riders for each food delivery brand. They are the heroes delivering a wide range of tasty food and helping Thai people to stay home safely.

"On top of this, AIS is helping people at home to stay connected with their relatives, friends and families. Just order a food delivery and hold a video call for a communal meal and a chat, a New Normal phenomenon for people stuck at home to not feel lonely. Customers can also fill up by redeeming their AIS Points for discounts on their food of up to 60 baht, through myAIS. All of this activity helps out the Thai economy in this difficult time."

Chantsuda Thananitayaudom. Country Marketing & Partnership Head at Grab Thailand said, "The current third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic is driving greater demand for food delivery services, as consumers self-isolate and maintain social distancing. Grab Thailand, a food delivery platform through its GrabFood service, is determined to support Thailand to keep going, and help our rider partners and food outlets to have income during this outbreak, in line with Grab's mission, 'GrabForGood', raising quality of life of Thai society through the application of technology to create incomes. This collaboration with AIS 5G is a project which not only helps riders and restaurants, but also supports consumers' access to food delivery services."

Peerapol Sa-ngamuang, Commercial Director of foodpanda Thailand said, "foodpanda sees the significance of this cooperation with AIS in giving privileges to customers as a part of creating the cashless society and reducing physical contact, an essential need for every sector to reduce the risk of Covid infection. Customers will be stimulated to stay at home. Our deliveries of food and other items now cover 77 provinces of Thailand at affordable prices. This has a key role in giving Thais access to services and special privileges nationwide."

Wutichai Namjaiprasert, Head of Business Development, LINE MAN Wongnai said, "This cooperation with AIS 5G empowers LINE MAN Wongnai's vision of an E-commerce Platform for Services. Our platform brings together a range of services for our valued customers who prefer home delivery, with the most restaurants to choose from, now counting over 300,000, from Street Food to gourmet restaurants. Added to this is a campaign exclusively for customers of AIS 5G to have the experience of special meals from LINE MAN, and there are many other privileges and benefits to be had."

Maytinee Rodjanapunyakul, Head of Strategic Partnership, Gojek Thailand said, "Gojek is delighted to expand its partnership with leading businesses such as AIS to power the ecosystem and bring convenience to service users at this challenging time. We are ready to bring tasty food to every user, safely distancing through the contactless delivery service with online payment. There will be exclusive benefits from this cooperation only for AIS customers, but over and above this, the Gojek app will be giving discounts of up to 50% throughout the month of May, and many other entitlements bringing great value to every customer."

Thana Thienachariya, Chairman of Purple Ventures Co., Ltd, the developer of Robinhood, a food delivery platform of Thai nationality said, "In the ever more severe third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, Robinhood has established itself as a middleman supporting restaurants by adhering to the platform's principles of not charging a single baht of GP, now and forever more. Our goal is to reduce business costs and generate income which is fair for food outlets, who receive the cash from sales within 1 hour, giving them the liquidity to keep their businesses going. We are also creating jobs and incomes for our riders at a time of increasing unemployment. We sincerely hope that this cooperation with AIS giving discounts to customers will bring a little bit of happiness to them. It will enable customers to eat safely without the risk of traveling from their homes, as part of the joint effort to prevent and contain infection with Covid-19."

Bussaya concluded by saying, "As well as our collaborative campaign, 'Eating in together with AIS Points', which will continue throughout 2021, AIS 5G has also joined its 5 super food delivery partners to give financial support to the project 'Sharing Stories' on Channel 3. This recommends restaurants who are partners of the 5 Food Delivery providers, to be a caring platform giving emergency assistance to distressed members of the community and affected restaurants. This bridge of kindness will connect and assist communities and restaurants to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic in the current crisis. We gratefully thanks all of our partners who have joined forces, giving power from the private sector to help Thailand recover from today onwards."
