KYO - TEI Japanese Kaiseki Fine Dining Restaurant managed by AQ Gourmet & Dine.

The name KYO - TEI is derived from the word Kyo ? from Kyoto 

The Imperial Capital - where Kaiseki was first introduced in the 9th century as the imperial cuisine,

and Tei ? represents our culinary destination.

Every meal at Kyo-Tei is carefully curated using only the freshest micro-seasonal ingredients available and showcasing it in a way that allows the ingredients to invoke all five senses.

Leading the culinary team is Master Chef Ishida Kinya, aged 74, from Kyoto, with over 56 years of culinary experience, and Henzan Hiroyuki from Okinawa who is also the Head Chef of Takumi-Tei in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Kyo-Tei by AQ Gourmet & Dine at Sukhumvit 38 will be the flagship restaurant in Bankok and will be serving modern and elevated Kaiseki, Teppanyaki and Omakase cuisine under one roof, offering a highly structured, multi-course meals that showcase the changing of the seasons, where menus shift dramatically depending on the availability of ingredients.

It will be served in unique and rustic plates and vessels, highlighting bold and curated flavours one at a time, a harmonious sequence of exciting flavours, textures, and presentations.

Showcasing the uniqueness of seasonality through our interpretation of Kaiseki using both traditional and modern techniques to create a balanced and harmonious dining experience.

On the Ground Floor…

Stepping into the main dining hall visitors will find themselves surrounded by natural elements of wood and stone, providing a warm and tranquil atmosphere.

Featuring a modern approach on traditional Kaiseki style cuisines with a twist of local influence. Every element used are highly influenced by the seasons and the interpretation of the Master Chef.

The Sushi Counter is where guests can enjoy the process where our chefs curate each piece of sushi and sashimi served in the restaurant.

At the Bar, our mixologists utilize only natural ingredients and homemade infusions to concoct delicious cocktails with influences of both Thai and Japanese culture.

Stepping into the second floor…

Unveil a refined and uncompromising dining experience, a secret venue that only for true aficionados can be discover.

Separated into 3 zones, an Exquisite Bar where only the finest whiskies and handcrafted cocktails are served.

A private Kaiseki Omakase Room with only eight seats where our Master Chef awaits to curate an elevated modern kaiseki cuisine that tells the stories of each season.

A private and intimate Teppanyaki Room that caters only seven guests who eagerly await to be served some of the finest ingredients available over a teppanyaki grill.
