Blue Tree Skate Park's first skateboard/surf skate competition took place on November 6, 2021. This competition challenged both skateboard and surf skaters throughout the day in one court.
This open event invited all to join bringing with it both a sense of community and unity. The competition included 5 categories: Open Male, Open Female, U15Male, U15 Female and a fun Fancy Dress - Best Dressed fun freestyle category. This wonderful event was joined by the Phuket skaters' community. "We would like to start with baby steps. This event was small scale to focus on the local community and Phuket market first. We believe that our immediate community is the most important. In the future when we would like to step up to bigger scale events such as nationwide and international competitions. Furthermore, the trend of health, sport and an active lifestyle is becoming more popular than ever before.
