The Tiger is known for its power, daring, and ability to do everything on a grand scale and Anantara Chiang Mai's resident chef PingLiu has crafted a menu to match all the tiger's traits.
Chef PingLiu has been cooking his authentic cuisine in some of China's finest hotels and restaurants for over 20 years and his special Year of the Tiger menu has a wide range of Sichuan, Cantonese and traditional Chinese favourites.
Anantara's Year of the Tiger menu consists of Chef PingLiu's old family recipes from his hometown of Emeishan City, in China's Sichuan Province and highlights include sauteed crab in chili sauce Szechuan style, roasted duck served with sticky rice and bacon bisque Chinese style, roasted pork stuffed with salted egg and BBQ pork spareribs Szechuan style, served with plum sauce. No Chinese New Year meal would be without a selection of Chinese dumplings, fine Chinese teas and dragon dances to entertain guests throughout the evening.
